Point of Interest
In honour of the Selkirk Settlers who landed in this area in 1803, the park hosts the annual Highland Games with highland dance competitions, bagpipe and fiddle music, along with sporting events such as caber toss, shot put and log toss.
The park offers swimming pools, miniature golf, camping and an outdoor stage. Adjacent to the park is Belfast Highland Greens, a picturesque 9-hole golf course which sits on the cliff’s bluff and had an outstanding water view. Nearby, are the Croft House Selkirk Cultural and Heritage Centre, the Church of Scotland (1876) and St. Paul Pioneer Cemetery with Acadian and Scottish burial grounds.
Clam digging, laundromat, kitchen shelter, fireplaces, dumping station. Additional fee for use of pool and miniature golf. Sunday afternoon variety concerts. Volunteer performers welcomed. Pets permitted on leash.
