The spectacular parabolic dune system rises above white-sand beaches and acts as a stunning backdrop to an extensive trail system that includes a floating boardwalk. A state-of-the-art interpretation centre provides an excellent opportunity to learn about one of Canada's unique ecosystems with rare sand dune formations. Explore over 20 interactive exhibits including a spectacular 12-minute multi-media presentation which tells the story of how natural forces and 10,000 years of human settlement have made St. Peters a must-see. Walk over a huge in-floor 3D model of the area. On-site gift shop. Allow 45-60 minutes to fully enjoy the centre.  Greenwich Park features large sand dunes between St. Peters Bay and the Gulf of St. Lawrence. Beach:
Climb the viewing tower or walk a short boardwalk to see one of the most spectacular dunes and ocean beaches on P.E.I. Breathtaking beauty of immense white sand dunes and an expansive ocean. Day use area. Swim at the supervised beach facility.

Trails:
Three hiking trails begin from the same trailhead, located about 1km west of the Greenwich National Park Interpretation Centre.
Greenwich Dunes Trail
Greenwich Dunes Trail, a self-guided interpretive trail, crosses a long floating boardwalk over Bowley Pond to one of Canada’s unique ecosystems - the rare parabolic shifting sand dunes. An observation area for viewing the spectacular parabolic dunes is located a short distance to the west along the beach. Interpretative signage explains the habitat. 4.5km return. It features moderately easy pathways. 
Tlaqatik Trail
The Klaqatik trail loops 4.5km and leads through young forests, sheltered dunes and old farm fields with spectacular views of St. Peter’s Bay. This trail passes the Jones archaeological site which is in the area of 10,000 years old. Interpretive signs explain the history of the area how people have reacted with land and sea over time.
Havre Saint Pierre Trail
A 1.25km return leads to an observation deck overlooking the bay. Interpretative signage explains the history of St. Peters bay area and mussel cultivation. The Havre Saint Pierre trail is easier and shorter with wheelchair accessibility.
