View MoreThe red sand beach is ideal for swimming at high tide, digging clams at low tide or walking along the shoreline at any time. It is a day use park with playground equipment, beach, bathroom facilities, boat ramp, wharf, and picnic area. Children will enjoy the minature fishing shanty village. It is adjacent the Wood Islands Lighthouse and NFL ferry terminal.
