Busy working site looking across the Montague and the Brudenell Canadian Heritage Rivers. The wharf is busy with lobster fishing in May and June. Mussel fishing can be seen from the wharf. Early evening young and older sport fishermen catch Mackerel off the wharf.

The Atlantic Mackerel frequent PEI waters from June to October. They spend their summers in warm coastal waters, but winter well offshore on the Continental Shelf. They are a popular prey of seals. Information sourced to PEI Agriculture Fisheries, Aquaculture and Forestry brochure
