The Souris and Area Branch of the P.E.I. Wildlife Federation is a non-profit organization in Northeastern Kings County.  As a chapter of the P.E.I. Wildlife Federation, which is an affiliate of the Canadian Wildlife Federation, the organization is strongly dedicated to the conservation, protection, and enhancement of watersheds, wildlife, and habitat in eastern Prince Edward Island.

Souris and Area Wildlife Branch has been in existence since 1954.  There are over 450 active members of varying backgrounds in the organization served by a volunteer Board of Directors.

The management area is approximately 62,000 hectares which includes 27 individual watersheds.  Many of the watersheds have some of the most pristine natural areas on Prince Edward Island, supporting a range of wildlife.  Most noteworthy, some of the watersheds boast the most productive runs of Atlantic salmon in the province.
